Registration
- Bike Ownership – Contestants are only allowed to enter their own bikes. By registering a bike, you represent that you are the owner of the bike. Teams are not eligible for the championship builder competition. Scores are NOT transferable to another competitor. If you are caught entering a bike you do not own, the bike will be disqualified from the show and the contestant will be disqualified from the championship competition.
- No Class Shopping – Once a contestant enters a bike in a class, the bike must remain in that class for that show at time of registration. A bike must be entered in only one class per show.
SETUP
- Check-in – On the day of the show, check in at the registration desk to receive your tag.
- Display Area – After you receive your tag, Setup your bike in the marked display area for your class. Once your bike is set up, please leave the area.
- Only contestants in the class are permitted in the display area.
- Do not move or touch other contestants’ bikes. Ask show staff for assistance if you need it.
- Children are not permitted in the display area at any time.
- Loading/Unloading Zone – Loading and unloading zones are provided for contestant convenience. Please unload/load quickly and immediately move your vehicle afterward to keep the zone free for the next contestants.
JUDGING
- Standards – Each bike is judged using a standard scoring system and evaluation guide.
- No Interference – Do not disturb the judges while they are judging. Judges will ask you if they have a question. Disturbing judges may result in disqualification or removal from the premises.
- Scores – Scoring sheets are available to any contestant after the show for their bike and their bike only.
- Grievances – Grievances should be respectfully addressed to the Head Judge. DO NOT HARASS THE JUDGES. Judges decisions are final.
CODE of CONDUCT
- Family Friendly Atmosphere – All shows are family friendly. Attendees, contestants and participants are asked to be respectful of others.
- Drug & Alcohol Policy – The use of recreational Drugs is not permitted. Alcohol is not permitted unless purchased through an onsite vendor and consumed in a legal area. Anyone caught violating these rules will be asked to leave the event.
- Supervise your children – Children must be supervised at all times. Children are NOT permitted in the display areas at any time. Contestants work very hard on their bikes. Parents are responsible for damage caused by their children.
- Language – Please refrain from rude or vulgar language around the children while at these events.
- Fighting is strictly prohibited at these events and will not be tolerated. If anyone is caught in an altercation, both parties involved in the altercation will be asked to leave the show immediately. Those that are involved in any altercation what so ever will be disqualified and suspended from any Triple Crown BMX Show for the period of (1) year. Those involved in a (1) year suspension will have to re-apply for any further competition in any Triple Crown BMX Shows with the Board of Directors. It is at the discretion of the Board of Directors to re-admit any contestant after a (1) suspension for fighting. Entry fee will not be refunded.
- Do Not Touch Bikes – Touching, riding or handling any other contestants show bikes is strictly prohibited. If someone is found to have done this, they will be asked to leave the show site immediately and forfeit their right to be in that particular show.
- Be courteous – Have a good time and help others have a good time. When entering and leaving the show area we ask that you do it in a courteous manner. Obey all traffic laws and speed limits. Be respectful of the businesses in the area. Enjoy music at a volume that does not disrupt others.
- Stealing – Anyone caught stealing from the show site including vendors will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Any person caught stealing from the show or venders will be escorted off the premises and never allowed to return to a Triple Crown BMX show. Thievery will not be tolerated what so ever. If you as a contestant hear, see, or think someone has stolen from the show or vendor, please notify the nearest person on the Board of Directors at the show.
- Clean up after yourself – Please clean up all areas used by your group at the shows, this will help insure future shows to be held at the same venues. Please put all trash in the trash cans at the shows. Leaving a mess behind will almost insure that we will not be invited back to the same venue.
PARKING
- Please park in the designated parking areas for all the shows or in legal, public parking areas. Do not park in business lots that are not marked for show parking. Obey all handicapped parking laws. Do not park on the blue hash marks.
Triple Crown BMX Show Categories and Classes
BMX Triple Crown uses both Categories and Classes to award champions.
A CATEGORY is defined by the size of bike.

CHAMPIONSHIP STRUCTURE
CATEGORY:
Member can choose to enter THREE of the categories for the championship series. Points are awarded to the MEMBER, not the bike.
Member must choose at the beginning of the series year which THREE CATEGORIES they want to enter for the championship point system. A member may NOT change categories during that series year.
Member will use the highest score from any CLASS pertaining the chosen CATEGORY. Only ONE CLASS score will be used for the category per event. So, the member will use the highest score earned in that category.

ONE Champion will be determined at the end of the year for each category by combining the best scores for each event. Member can use the highest score received in any CLASS as long as it is in the same CATEGORY. A Member can get first in all three classes for one category but can only use one of the first place points for that category per event.

20”: FIRST (1970-1980) = 100 points FIRST EVENT
20”: SECOND (1981-1990) = 95 points SECOND EVENT
20”: FIRST (1991-up) = 100 points THIRD EVENT
TOTAL: 295 POINTS
MEMBER B:
20”: FIRST (1991-UP) = 100 points-FIRST EVENT
20”: THIRD (1991-UP)= 90 points-SECOND EVENT
20”: SECOND (1970-1980) = 95 POINTS-third event
TOTAL: 285 POINTS
MEMBER A would be the Series Champion for the 20” category.
A year end CHAMPION will be determined for each category by combing the highest points earned for all three shows in chosen category.
Member will use the highest score from any class but must be in the same CATEGORY. Only ONE CLASS score will be used for the category per event.
GRAND CHAMPION
ONE Grand Champion will be determined at the end of the year.
A member that enters three categories for the overall year championship series will be eligible for the Grand Champion.
The members overall ranking in each category will be used for placing in the Grand Champion point system.

TIE BREAKER RULES
If a category has a tie in points, the Champion will be determined by the best JUDGING score for each winning bike for all three events.

26” FIRST PLACE (CLASS)- JUDGE SCORE = 50 POINTS-FIRST EVENT
26” FIRST PLACE (CLASS)- – JUDGE SCORE = 49.5 POINTS – SECOND EVENT
26” FIRST PLACE (CLASS)- – JUDGE SCORE = 50 POINTS-THIRD EVENT
TOTAL JUDGING POINTS: 149.5
MEMBER B: TOTAL SERIES POINTS FOR 26” CATEGORY 295
26” FIRST PLACE (CLASS)- – JUDGE SCORE = 50 POINTS-FIRST EVENT
